We'd like to thank gameplayer Julie Gauci for writing this humorous walkthrough for Cendric's Quest! (You will be able to see the rest of Julie's walkthrough after you register the game.)
Going thru the front door, you will come upon a staircase, with a plaque you are unable to read! Nice! We will come back to this -- we need to find a certain item first that will enable you, as Cendric, to decipher the words! Without knowing what the plaque says, you are wary about ascending -- well, as it turns out, the stairs up indicator is not available -- so, you cannot ascend anyway!! So, let's go look at some paintings shall we? Portraits really. Not very cheerful are they?!! In fact, they are a somber lot!! They probably had bad teeth anyway!! But I stray -- try moving the pictures -- nothing yet? What's that glowing behind that last picture? Move that one! Ahh, so pretty! Why, it's a crystal -- a magic crystal -- and getting it just got you 3 pts! Your count is 5! So, moving a picture gets you something, eh? Let's head left and try moving this picture that has a face vaguely resembling George Washington and see what happens! A symbol is revealed, a Charia symbol!
We'll need to remember this location to come back later. By the way, you get no points for finding this symbol! Choosing the up arrow only leads you back to the Great Hall, and there's nothing to be gained there, so, click on the right arrow-back to the three serious faces and click again on the right arrow -- two more staring faces! Don't bother trying to move these, there is nothing hidden here. Click on the up arrow -- so many passages, so many choices! Well, let's go to the kitchen first -- that's the up arrow. Look very hard along the counter-you will find some bread crumbs. Take them (I'll explain why later). You'll get 3 pts; your count should now be 8!
At the lower-most round edge of the green carpet lies a trapdoor. Open it and go down. You're in the wine cellar, but we are not here for wine. Search the upper right-most, 2nd shelf for a bottle that will read "Asp Venom!" Take hold of it -- don't worry about all the wine you drank searching for this bottle; in this game, you do not suffer any ill effects! You have just gained 3 more points! Your count is now 11! You should leave now, nothing more to be gained in this place. Back in the kitchen, click on the down arrow -- not the stairs-this takes you back to the hall -- click on the right arrow that leads to that green patch! Well, well -- a well!!! Nothing you have will help you here, but search the ground on the right side of that well. Anything? How about some rocks?! Take them, they will come in handy later, and you will gain another 3 pts! Count now stands at 14!
