ost user interaction in Cendric's Quest takes place through a convenient point-and-click interface. The game screen features all that you need for your adventure:: The View Window is your first-person window on Castle IronGate. You see exactly what Cendric sees.; The Action Buttons are the key part of your character interface! Examine, take, or manipulate objects in the View Window through any combination of the actions "DO" and "LOOK."; The Item Window lets you see all the items you have discovered on your adventure that you are currently carrying. Click on an item to use it somewhere in the room or on another item. Double-click an item to view it closely.; The Spells Menu allows you to cast the various magical spells Cendric learns on his journey. Simply pick a spell, aim it if necessary, and cast it!; The Movement Buttons complete your character interface. Move Cendric North, South, East, West, or up and down stairs at the click of a button.; Game Options are available at any time through pull-down menus at the top of the game screen. You can save your game, restore a saved game, cycle through the game's music, mute all music and sound effects, or get help on how to play.

n addition, there are special screens for character dialog and action sequences, and some riddles may require you to type in short answers on the keyboard, if you can figure them out!
